For large double flowers I allow only one or two

stems to grow any excess can be used for cuttings

I grow until there are 5 nodes removing all side shoots

they can also be used for cuttings I then nip out any growth

 above the buds I want to flower, you will be left with a Male

bud and a female bud on either side gently remove the females.

this increases the size of the male flower.
